S51001 Response to the Supreme Court Opinion

S51001 Extraordinary Session [link] :   NY legislature met and in 1 day added 21 pages of new law with little debate or concern for the rights of NY residents CONTRARY TO THE OPINION JUST EXPRESSED BY THE SUPREME COURT IN NYSRPA VS BRUEN.

under construction.  I don't know whether to cry or laugh. They took out the one 'may issue' requirement and added several others using different words. The place several pages of restrictions on the carry permit, require training that will cost hundreds of dollars and dropped the license validity period to just 3 years, after which you repeat the entire process, including training, fingerprints, pictures,etc. 

The laws from last month were so poorly written, as we noted last month, that they are already being revised under this new legislation.
